Mic The Snare is run by me, Nick Canovas (“wait, his name’s not Mic?”). I am a video producer and creator currently based in the greater Boston area.

I’ve been fortunate to develop a wholistic understanding of music across my life — learning to play multiple instruments as a kid, going to college for audio engineering, now working and consulting for several pro audio brands.

And all of that is reflected in Mic The Snare.

Since 2018, I’ve grown Mic The Snare to nearly 350k followers across all social platforms, as well as 35 million total views on YouTube.

I’ve gotten to collaborate with brands like Universal Music Group, Mackie and Qobuz.

But most importantly, I’ve gotten to connect with other like-minded music fans, and share my love of music with a worldwide audience.
